MAS Seeds Highlights Regenerative Agriculture
In September, MAS Seeds reaffirmed its commitment to Regenerative Agriculture and strengthened its reputation as an international seed company actively supporting the agroecological transition, through two complementary events: a pre-client event at our Haut-Mauco site (MAS Seeds headquarters in the Landes) and our participation in the Méca-culturales trade show in the Landes.
📅 September 9th – MAS Seeds France Headquarters: Pre-Client Event
Nearly 50 clients, from France as well as Kazakhstan, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Moldova, Turkey, and Mexico, visited our headquarters in the Landes.
The day focused on our Regenerative Agriculture strategy, presented through:
- MAS Seeds Showcase: Highlighting our R&D work, seed production, and commercial offerings, demonstrating our Regenerative Agriculture strategy in practice.
- Collaborative Workshops: Engaging French clients in co-creating practical solutions for the agroecological transition, including anticipating future CSR and carbon reduction requirements, training and supporting teams and farmers, stimulating farmer engagement through concrete solutions (cover crops, adapted hybrids such as Waterlock and Green+, more resilient varieties), supporting farmers in reducing inputs, developing multi-species rotation solutions, and economically valuing farmers’ efforts.
External experts enriched the day:
- Frédéric Thomas, farmer and recognized expert in conservation agriculture, founder of TCS magazine, shared his experience, highlighting challenges specific to maize, the benefits of solar corridors, and the importance of rethinking practices to strengthen farm resilience.
- Clara Labaste, from the NGO Earthworm Foundation, provided a sector-wide perspective, showing how regenerative approaches can be valued by agri-food stakeholders and supported through training, measurement, and economic incentives.
📅 September 10th & 11th – Landes, France
MAS Seeds also participated in the Méca-culturales trade show, a major professional gathering in the Landes, attracting over 12,000 visitors.
At our stand, visitors could discover:
- Our commitment to Regenerative Agriculture
- Our genetic innovations in maize and sunflower
- Our cover crop offerings and agronomic solutions
More than 300 exhibitors and around 100 experts attended, highlighting the show’s key role in the agricultural sector.
🎙 Conference – September 10th
During the show, MAS Seeds hosted a roundtable titled “What Role Do Seeds Play in the Agroecological Transition?”
This conference brought together a diverse audience—farmers, institutions, journalists—and fostered rich discussions between our experts and Frédéric Thomas. The exchanges confirmed the crucial role of seeds in a successful transition and reinforced MAS Seeds’ legitimacy in driving this debate internationally.
The replay is available on our YouTube channel.

To secure seed production in an increasingly unpredictable climate, MAS Seeds launched in 2024 a network of pilot farms dedicated to testing regenerative agriculture practices. The goal: identify the most relevant technical pathways to restore soil health while maintaining crop productivity, based on real field conditions. In 2025, trials focused on four main levers: Six […]
